Help firmware update?

had the same problem with the update... it says to make sure phone is charged 50% < which mine was... tired to update more than once and every time the update froze at 46% to which i had to do a battery pull and my phone was fine... hope boost/ kyocera or whoever fixes this probelm with the updates... for now i'll just keep ignoring the fact that their is an update... I'll stay posted to see what everyone else has to say
 
I was told by radio shack that a factory reset is the only fix otherwise its a manufacture effect.other source said to clear out your call reject message file to less then 5.
 
I got one yesterday it got stuck at like 29 percent I rebooted my phone and tried to re download it. It's been downloading since about 7pm & it's only at 21 percent now
 
Mine will download it just fine, it fails on install.
reboots and says the install failed.

Dont really feel like unrooting it, and reinstalling the unwanted apps and removing my custom boot animation/sound, unless there is something really super wonderful in the update.
 
I must have gotten very lucky. My firmware update kicked in this morning and DL'ed/installed with no problem. Even on reboot it remembered my custom ringtone. Root Checker Basic says it's still rooted and Titanium and Superuser seem to be working fine. (Knock wood...) I hope you folks can resolve your issues; best of luck.
