For phone recommendations i would say the Moto X pure or the Nexus 5x.

[Blu8]

Or the Nexus 6

Love my Moto X Pure. First phone I liked straight out of the box stock.

[argedion]

Any of the latest Nexus devices.

Another vote for the Moto X Pure Edition. Get it directly from Motorola, no bloatware, customizable, and affordable.
