Root First Android Questions about Rooting and Sd Card

Hello everyone! I'm Nate
I'm new to an Android phone. I got this Centura for Christmas. I want to install a couple of games that are big but the internal memory is about 3GB. I bought a 16 GB sd card to fix this but it seems this phone won't let me install apps to the sd. What I want to know is: has anyone here had experience rooting your centura? If so does this allow you to install apps to the sd and play the games from it?

I'm not sure if you can directly install apps to your sd without some prior tinkering. I know that there were a few things you could do for the HTC Desire although I'm not sure if they would work on the Centura

Cool. I really hope I can find someone that has experience with this specific phone and fixing this problem. I've been reading forum post since last night trying to figure this out. I just want to know if it will work before I try rooting.

I think someone had some luck with apps2sd or links2sd or one of the others
