Help First day with my new Triumph

Just got my Brand new Triumph, lots of complaints. I think it was refurbished in a brand new box as the sticky plastic protectors all had dirt under them. It seems to fall back from 3G to 1X more places than the OV it is replacing. Most shocking is that the capacitive buttons at the bottom of the screen never light up. I believe this makes the phone defective, but from reading the complaints on this forum about how annoyingly bright they are, maybe this is a feature?

Got mine Friday! I ordered it Monday with the code, so I got it for $129. I am coming off a 2 year old HTC hero. This is like a Core i3 compared to an original Pentium. So far I am very happy except my own stupidity getting it activated. I am switching from $75 per month and Sprint and I guess I programmed the MT too soon. I kept waiting and waiting for it to work. When my Hero quit working I expected it to work. Finally after 24 hrs I called VM and was told I have to program it. I said I already did. He said let's check...and it wasn't programmed. I programmed it and it started working instantly.

I have a new 32gb SD card and can't wait to fill it up! So far everything is great...especially the display. It is so large and clear. I have a micro HDMI cable on the way and can't wait for a ROM to support the HDMI!

I got a GPS fix in about a minute and don't see any quality or build problems with it. It is nice to have a fast phone!

Bought my Triumph on Cyber Monday as well. Have had it for about four days now.

Three dead pixels showed up today :(

Already in the process of attempting to get a replacement.

I know exactly what you mean. My Triumph is replacing an old OMAP 1 device. The Snapdragon just crushes it.

I started filling up my new card today. Time to catch up on a lot of videos.

I tested a few more videos with HDMI out and I also played a few games on the big screen too. It worked great. The only issue is the lack of feedback from real buttons sometimes makes it hard to know where you're pressing when you're not looking down at the phone screen.

My growing list of apps. (All free or trial versions) Feel free to comment, offer a better alternative or warn me about buggy malware/bloatware.
