Root First post! 3G not working after rom restore

Basically, I tried to flash Cyanogen last night but I didn't choose the wipe data option. It got stuck on the Cyanogen boot screen. So I rebooted it and restored the backup Motorola rom I made directly prior to flashing.

Everything went back fine, Wifi works, all apps/contacts there, but no 3G.

I am on page plus wireless and 3g was working directly prior to flashing. Is there a setting or something that I'm missing that I need to change? I made two backup roms and with either of them, 3G does not work. This isnt a problem except I cant send/recieve MMS pictures without the 3G on, which I like doing.

I rooted with superoneclick and its running at 1000mhz. I used Rom Manager to backup my roms.

For what its worth, I did flash Cyanogen and ended up going back because I didn't like having to redo all my contacts and whatnot :P

This is not necessary for the answer this time, but what version of cyanogen were you trying?

I know that Page Plus uses VZW's service but somewhere I think I have read about the 3g problem, unfortunately the only answer I have that _might_ work is try dialing *228 and see if updating your phone with the network fixes it. I don't know why the restore would break your 3g, however.

I was having same issue after flashing a rom then going back from 2.2 to 2.3 what worked for me was *228 option 1 then *228 option 2...try it see if works for you. Good luck :)
 
Just a lil update (its been a while). The reason why the 3g wasnt working was because I only have 100 megs of data and It was used up. I guess the wifi went out and it downloaded the rom off of 3g. I used up all my data.

After the month was over, my 3g came back.

I ditched the rom anyway, just running a minimalistic launcher pro and its good enough for me :)

Oh, and I"m on page plus. Its pretty awesome, save for the data cap :P
