Root First post in a while, Rom has giving me more issus than i can handle. Need some advice

In... April, or may, or so. I recieved a replacement evo4g, Rooted and unlocked the thing for the first time, Went with decks reloaded, loved it. But now that i have uninstalled and reinstalled a handful of times, and have consistantly not gotten the results i want, and am now running into my phone locking and resetting itself almost everytime i hit the lock screen button. I am turning to the members here for there advice for a different rom. I have downloaded and tried out the mikG rom a couple times as well. Didnt quite.. i dunno. i didnt like it as much as the decks rom, and it was a lot more confusing, since there was a bunch of features that werent available for the evo4g, but still showed up in the rom anyways. ANYWAYS long story short. I have a SH@T TON of music, mostly beats and instrumentals on my phone, that i wont get rid of, and they are important to me, as i spend 10+ hours a week at work, and spend most of my free time making and recording music, so, I need one with some nice music options, and one that wont randomly lose all the info in my playlists so my songs keep disappearing causing me to literally go back through thousands of songs and recreate the lists, that i actually need.

You have uninstalled/reinstalled that particular rom? or different roms

and am now running into my phone locking and resetting itself almost everytime i hit the lock screen button.

Not clear on what you mean "lock screen button"...the power button to wake phone up or when the phone is awake, when you hit the power button to bring up an option list

As far as your music, not sure as I have zero music on mine. But wouldnt your music be on your sd card?

Have you tried other roms besides Decks and MikG?
Have you tried different kernels with each?
Have you tried wiping cache and dalvik cache in recovery?
Sorry for numerous questions. ????????? lol

yeah the music is stored on the sd card so i'm not exactly sure what you want out of your music. i use google's play music app myself. no need to have my music taking up my sd card.

as far as the other issues you are having, like mikey asked, have you wiped dalvik cache and cache? you can always wipe dalvik cache and cache and re-flash the rom as well. you will not loose anything as long as you do not wipe data or the sd card. both of those will usually fix most issues.
