Root first problem since Nov OTA install

So here's something interesting...

I performed the manual November OTA install a couple of weeks ago. I was rooted on stock 2.2 (and still am). Well, about 10 minutes ago, my phone reboots, when it finally comes back I get a screen that says software 6.26.605.1 successfully installed. wtf? The kicker is, 75% of my apps don't work. I get FC after FC constantly. I can't even get into the Market long enough to try and redownload and repair them. This sucks.

Has this happened to anyone else?

well I have no idea how this happened but it royally fubar'd my phone. I had to restore to a backup I made prior to the OTA install just to get the phone in working order. I am leaving the stock bloatware where it is for now. what a mess.
