Root First time root Complete!

It took me about 30 mins to root my incredible, Its interesting so far, i like having access to remove stock system apps. I just followed the guide at the top of this forum section and i also had to download a HTC Hboot android driver found here:

public:windows_hboot_driver_install [RootWiki]

unrevoked would not acknowledge my phone was connected untill i installed that driver, after that, it was easy.



I read somewhere that there is a way to control which apps open on startup... but i cannot remember where, maybe someone can help me here. I also cannot get a flashlight app to work using the 2 led lights : (



I have installed a kernal which was super easy. Its hard to tell if it even installed correctly because literally nothing is different.
I assume I did it correctly because when I check Menu>settings> "about phone" < software information: under kernal it says hydra uv-n-v02 ejhart@xxxxxxxxxxxx

You installed the kernel correctly if that's what it says in about phone.
