Hey Yogi,

I just got my epic as well, I noticed that the tread was made back in August. Are you sure it is still valid and will work with all the new updates that the Epic received? Have you used it and what is the success rate?

Mike

Mike, if you want to go with an ext4 rom, use this to root:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=897612

I just threw the first one up there because he said he wanted something safe and easy. They are both equally safe and easy however.... you just need to read up and decide if you wanna go ext4, which is what most of the latest roms are using.

Hey thanks Yogi,

It seem like they made it real simple. Can you possible direct me/us to the appropriate place to load rom? Thanks, I know I could of just used a Google search but it seem finding good information from reliable sources are hard to come by these days.

Thanks!
