yeah well there is no real concrete number as to how many phones since nothing popped up unlike when the incredible launched so im sure they have more then 100k maybe that was just in that area they had that amount who knows though

be 'sure' all you like...

per the VZW district rep i spoke to in person this morning, ~100k units nationwide at launch. true? i dunno, but i'm pretty sure which one of you i would consider more informed. how long to the next batch? who knows?

I should be in pretty good shape. I live in a fairly rural area and there is a Verizon store, BJ's (with a Verizon kiosk), and a BB all within <5 minutes of each other. I'll check opening times and plan accordingly.

If they only have 100K then we are in for trouble on this phone. Where I do not expect it to sell like the iPhone it is still only 20% of what was sold in the first day in the US.
So it seems as if they are not really ready for this unless that is just the first order and they have a second order already there for week two.
