Help Fix a contacts name

So, one of my friends has two facebook accounts and for some reason I can't change the contact name on my phone.

Instead of saying his name it gives me his band, even though the band is not in my contacts and I even deleted it as a friend.

When i get a text, for instance, and try pulling up the contact info it won't let me edit it or change the name our delete it. I re synched facebook but the problem remains. Please help!

go to your contact list, click the name, and press edit contact at the bottom. change the name/number at the top?

im new to all this, but thats how i did it.

the problem is that the name ISN'T in my contacts, it's a facebook name that is stuck assigned to the phone number and i can't seem to shake it.

when i pull up the contact info there is no ability to edit it.
