So here is my universal method tested on the GT-N8013 US variant of the note 10.1 to recover from a bootloop.Follow this guide exactly and you should be back to normal on JB or ICS (your choice)

1) Boot into download mode, and flash the stock JB or ICS (this will be your choice)Get CWM High on Android from max at rootgalaxynote.com The file you want is the root galaxy note 10.1 zip.

http://rootgalaxynote.com/galaxy-no...t-galaxy-note-10-1-easiest-methodcwmmethod-2/

2) Open ODIN and flash Max's CWM high on android.

3) Reboot Recovery will work now. BUT WHEN YOU TURN OFF YOUR DEVICE IT WILL AUTO REBOOT, SO WHEN THE SCREEN GOES BLACK AFTER YOU SWITCH IT OFF IMMEDIATELY START HOLDING VOLUME UP PLUS POWER. WAIT FOR THE SAMSUNG Galaxy note 10.1 LOGO TO FLASH ON TWICE. LET GO OF POWER AND CONTINUE HOLDING VOLUME UP, WAIT UNTIL CWM RECOVERY STARTS!!

4) Wipe data factory reset, wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache three times each in that order.

5) Reboot and wait up to 10minutes for the device to boot VOILA!!! You have your not3 back on stock JB or ICS whichever you originally flash!

*Please donate, thumbs up, and share if this helps you! And thanks to max at rootgalaxynote.com for the great CWM recovery zip!

Let's try to help one another, without snarky comments, and stay on topic.

Thanks,

Thanks Damewolf glad to see a mod get involved!

I wanted to make this a helpful post and got nothing but rude criticism.

I appreciate the effort to keep things civil, and sorry if I got out of hand. I am new to the forum.

Shagerty, you have nothing to apologize for. Your link does go to the Note 10.1 site. Keep posting anything helpful. Do not let "snarky" stop you. :D

Haha word. Thanks for that comment saltz. Snarky wont get to me.. :banghead: :D he is stuck behind that brick wall!

Hey shagerty, how are you?

I saw this post and was thinking if you can help me with a similar problem.

My GNote is stuck at the "Samsung Galay Note" screen.

Itried to plug the USB card to see whether I could make the Odin procedure, but when I plug the cable in the PC and hit the tbalet's power button, the tablet shows the battery charging screen.

Hope you can help me.

Regards,

Arthur

Bumping this as I am experiencing the same issues as Arthur.

My Note 10.1 will not recognize USB anymore and keeps going into a loop
I am able to get it to a screen where an Android pops up and says "Downloading" but nothing happens. Even left it on overnight.

I'm totally stumped as to how I can bring my tablet back to life...

My tablet has been dead for days and is stuck on the main logo screen. I have tried everything to get it back on and nothing works...I would love to have some help if anyone knows what to do to fix this issue?????

" 1) Boot into download mode, and flash the stock JB or ICS..."

I don't know weather it's just me missing something obvious, but it seems that everytime I go to any forum, or find info on any site dealing with boot loop issues, everyone jumps straight to: "Just reboot and then...."

My question is this: How do you reboot a device to do anything, when it's constantly rebooting and won't power down? ...Even if it did power down and you wait until the boot cycle restarts, before you can do anything it's rebooting again! Sorry, but all this sounds really contradictory.

Obviously there's another step to this, but it's really frustrating that no one ever mentions what it is. Clearly it's the most important step of all - the very first step, a step without which nothing else can proceed.

What am I missing???

Dear mantis3dfx,
Have you solved your problem? I have the same - boot loop stops on the second screen with animated word SAMSUNG. Hard reset informing about Download but nothing happens. Reading the forum looks like this problem is not unique. May be somebody solved it without replacing the device with new one.

I think I got as far as step three but I'm not sure. I followed max's video and got the driver to install in download mode but when the screen goes to reboot, it flashes twice then when I let go of the power button it starts flashing the battery charge screen. I tried the process several times and got the same result every time. not sure what else to try

Stuck with the same problem on a friends 10.1

Anyone fix the boot loop problem? It downloaded the file but when trying to go into the recovery mode as instructed it goes black for a couple seconds then shows the Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 screen again indefinitely or will keep resetting if not left plugged in.
