Root Fix for volume bug in music player?

Whenever I plug my cassette player to my phone it greatly reduces the volume. I've seen the bug fix linked in the all things root guide but the file is through megaupload which is no more. Is there another upload of that file or a more current fix for the problem?

Dear friend its not a bug. When i connect my phone into my Sub-woofer and play audio using android default media player, it also reduce sound. So i have to increase my sub woofer volume. I don't think its your phone issue. :D

But I've had my volume set in my car the way I want it to and be jamming. I get in my car the next day and the volume is back down. Unplugging and plugging back in has only worked a few times.

It's a persistent bug with CM7 and CM9 for some reason.

When you get a notification it messes with the audio levels...maybe some glitch with DSP Manager or whatever.

Unfortunately as far as I know there is no real "fix" for this. There's only small things you can do to prevent it after it happens. Your volume will go down as soon as you get a notification of any kind, to bring it back to normal I usually just pause the song for 10 seconds or so and then resume and it should be back to normal. This issue is the only thing that plagues this phone for me. I'd do anything to have the volume on this phone be as high as my ipod. I've tried every volume booster app out there and all it does is distort the audio.

not only in the CM roms but the stock rom.

the "media volume" (volume to adjust for watching movies or playing games) is often erratic. Sometimes it's quite loud, others, very quite. It's inconsistent and an annoyance for sure.

Yes this kind of thing also possible. :D

CM9 fixed it for me actually :o
I haven't gotten it once since I flashed CM9. I just gave myself a notification while listening to music and it didn't go down at all.

GoneMAD music player has equalizer which you can turn up the volume ..... DSP Manager works fine with Gonemad music player ... download the apk.from the market, you can use 14 days trial ...... that fix my Triumph:D
