Root Fix Google Docs App after failed Titanium Backup Convert to User App

Hello,

Some time ago I made Google Docs a system app with Titanium Backup Pro because I had the space after deleting a bunch of bloatware and I needed more space in the data partition, but now I have other things I'd like to put there, so I tried converting it back to a user app. Unfortunately Titanium backup never stopped, though Google Docs appeared to be removed.

Unfortunately, on reinstalling Google Docs it now crashes whenever it is launched. Does anyone have any idea how to manually clean up a situation like this? Not having this app is a real hardship, so any help would be appreciated. I've had no problems with any other app.

Thanks,
C

So I tried re-converting it to a system app and it works again, except for viewing text documents (a problem I had before). I thought maybe if I put it back as a system app maybe I could remove it successfully, but I'm faced with the same hang. It just says "processing" forever.

I had wondered if Docs being a system app was what was breaking the text document handling (I've had several apps break as system apps), so it looks like I have to accept not being able to view/edit Google text documents or not be able to access Google docs at all, unless someone has some insight on why Titanium Backup Pro is choking on the Google Docs app.

I'v had numerous problems lately in converting system apps to user apps across the board, but ROM Toolbox was able to remove system apps completely. The apps could then be reinstalled and worked properly.
