Hi,

This morning I saw an icon on my Samsung Galaxy S2, 4.0.4, showing about a file to update, and the standard Android picture on it: Fixed.apk

So I did (I know, it was a mistake...).
I got suspicious and finally installed the Avast anti-virus on my mobile. If founds exactly this app as a malware.
I uninstalled it.

But my concern is: how this automatically appeared on my mobile?
How this was presented to be downloaded without my previous request?

I couldn't find anything on google about what this malware can do on mobile.

Thanks,
Fabio

Hi, and welcome!

This sounds suspiciously similar to the case cited here. Quite possibly it was a drive-by download triggered by visiting a website.

Thanks Slug!

I used the virustotal.com to analyse the fixed.apk file:

I don't remember to have checked some web site on the same time. It happened at the time I woke up. So I saw the icon on the top.
