My Epic would not even boot up even with a fresh battery.
I looked at my wife's epic and saw that where you plug in the micro charger, the very small silver bar in the middle was pushed to the side on mine. Took a sharp knife and moved it back to the middle and now it boots and charges.
Also Epic speaker phone was fuzzy like the speaker was cracked. Found a YouTube video that shows how to disassemble the epic. I took out the speaker unit. Could not tell if it was bad since it was sealed. I found a replacement part of eBay and ordered it, hopefully this will fix that.
