Root fixed esn meid, but still no data

So I was going back to stock, and had issues while at the downloading do not unplug screen. the updater tool said unplug it:dontknow: so I did... and it ended up wiping everything, I got back to stock eventually, but LGNPST showed all 0's.

After a whole weekend of looking for info on the somewhat taboo subject, I was able to fix the phone number, MEID and ESN using QXDM and QPST.

The phone number, MEID and ESN all show up correctly in LGNPST.
About Phone>Status and the phone number, meid, and min all show up correctly there.

I don't quite remember the particular order of everything I did, but I now have voice and txt, but no data.

When I go to About Phone>Status;
Service state says In service, Network says Verizon, but Mobile network state says disconnected.

If I am at this screen and press the power button and turn on Airplane Mode, Service state says Radio off (normal/good) and Mobile network state doesn't change, it still says disconnected.
When I turn airplane mode off, Mobile network state says connecting but it never does and eventually says disconnected.

That leads me to think there's is some kind of authentication that is supposed to be happening, but the credentials are still 000000 somewhere.

Somewhere I have seen a menu in the phone, or maybe screenshots of what look like email address/usernames, like 1112223333@vzw.com. Could someone tell me where I can check that and offer some other tips or a solution?

Possibly an A-Key issue. Call *22899 to re-activate/authenticate the phone. It Will change NAM Settings, The A-Key, and Update PRL.

I had not tried that number yet, but I just did and reactivated, but no luck.
I already tried *228, programmed it, updated roaming, no data.

Couldn't find a way to change the APN settings, so I got APN Backup & Restore app, backed up my Ally APNs, scrolled though the file and found the Verizon section mostly blank except the mmsc. I added the APN info that I found here Verizon APN Settings, and restored it. That didn't work either. Then I backed up the APNs on my Bionic, checked the Verizon section, and it was pretty much the same. Mostly blank except the mmsc address. I left info I added to the Ally APN.

I got Z4root, SU and ROM Manger.
Whatever stock ROM I was on when I got the voice and txt back, was replaced with a stock nandroid from march of 2011 which is what I'm running now. All of the above has been done on this install. Still no data.
2.1update1
PRL52892
VS740MVC.5210.1015

I feel like it has something to do with nv items and some hex or binary crap or something...

Could it be that when the esn and meid got wiped, whatever tells the 3g signal that its okay for me to connect got wiped?

or could installing a new radio image be something that might be worth a shot?

Try *#*#4636#*#* > Phone information >

*CDMA Auto (PRL)
*Wait 15 seconds
*Turn off Radio
*Wait 15 seconds
*Turn on Radio
*Wait 15 seconds
*Menu Enable Data Connection....
*Wait 15 seconds
*Run ping test.

Try that?
