Fixed microphone jack problem

my problem is when I'm running and listening to music, now does anyone know if getting an integrated headset (with mic) solves the problem, or will it keep toggling between the non-mic and mic mode?
The testing that I have done is that if you use a mic/headset with a 4-contact plug the FM radio antenna works correctly. I have not had any problem with any headsets while jogging and have not modified the jack. The problem is finding good stereo earbuds with a microphone. I have been looking for an adaptor cable that has the microphone built-in, with a 3.5MM 4-contact plug and 3.5MM 3-contact jack, similar to what I had with the Sony Walkman Phone (with the buggy proprietary Sony plug & jack). That way I could plug in any headset, including noise-cancelling headsets that I use when mowing the lawn. I have searched several times and can only find it in the 2.5MM version.

This might be what you are looking for. I believe the iPhone version terminates with a 3.5mm TRRS (4 contact) male plug.

Additionally, if you are looking for a full headphone/mic setup that works well with the Evo, I personally recommend the Ultimate Ears Super.Fi 5vi. It's a single fire armature driver so it won't have the full range of premium headphones like the Shure SE530/535 that offer three drivers, but it's quite capable. It has a mic and also places the multifunction button below the Y joint, allowing for easy access (many companies put the multifunction button on the mic itself, which is awkward).

I use the Ultimate Ears all the time on my walk to and from work, and it works very well.
