Help Fixing data speeds

In using the ##data# trick, what do I actually change in order to get better speeds? Also, how do I get the msl number needed to make changes?

That link should be all you need. If that way seems too complicated, then call Sprint and politely ask a customer service rep. And if at first you don't succeed try try again

I just got the MSL no problem and changed everything to zero. Not sure, but it definitely feels faster. Could just be me though.

His to I test speeds to see if anything has changed?

Does this affect the signal bars?

Also, is this just for streaming purposes or does it affect total data performance?

The intent was solve streaming - but you'll be routing your traffic through at least one less hop, so you may expect an effective speedup for all net ops.

Some report opposite results, but that's a small minority.

I'm actually getting another 3D on Monday because my current one has the crooked screen and is overheating. Should I go ahead and get the new MSL and use the fix on the new one or wait and see how the speeds are?

The proxy fix is designed to help with proxy issues. If it helps speed, fine, that's not the point of it, though.

I'd say if you're getting a new phone, take one thing at a time, but that's just an opinion, there's no wrong way.
