Flappy Bird, anyone played it?

Agreed. Why do people get so cranky over a game!? They need to take a good long hard look at themselves. I mean, a game! That's pathetic. I can understand a crack head, or a meth head going crazy over their fix, but Flappy Birds?

I don't understand. It's not high graphic, ultra realistic.... it's not sci-fi like the old Atari games.... it's a kids game!!!

I just recently heard of Flappy due to all the media fuss. I'm not a gamer. At least not modern day games. The old Atari 2600 is more my style. So when I heard that the game was so "Thpethial" and was being pulled for reasons incomprehensible to most folks I thought I should check it out,so I installed it on my android phone and tablet. Very enjoyable time killer as the developer had hoped.
I can relate to his decision to pull the game to get rid of the headache it was creating for him. If reports are accurate on the income he has received from the game, He's already set for life. Understand...He's Vietnamese not American. I assume he wasn't raised in a culture of "Grab all ya can get any way ya can" like we are. That's more "western" type mentality.
Anyway I do enjoy the game and have a high score of 17 but I may be cheating since I achieved that on my tablet using a mouse to "tap".

I think the reason why he pulled it was because of how much it resembles Mario with the warp pipes, scenery, and the bird looking like one of the fish from mario and Nintendo probably got mad and made him take it down. That's just my two cents.

According to what I've seen/read about this, that wasn't it...

I've read numerous reasons as to why it was taken down. One of them was he couldn't handle the pressure, death threats, etc. I think of it as a possibility since he used the same exact warp pipes and even the bird was a cheep cheep from mario. Either way I never played it myself. I did see it in the Google Play one day, but never bothereed to try it.

I saw that and am reading because it got too popular and ruined his social life. I think there's something more to it though. Either way if he was being attacked by people it's just a game after all. A free one at that.

I've only gotten up to 34 but would have gotten more if I didn't get a sticking text at that time!!! I haven't been able to top 24 since. It's a frustrating yet addictive game.

So I've been hearing a lot about this Flappy Bird game and how crazy hard it is, so I checked it out and played it myself. It is quite hard, but I don't get why it's so popular. Can anyone explain it to me? I'm pretty sure I've played some hard games like it. Is it because it's so hard to get a good score?

Well sometimes the developer is just lucky .

I was addicted onto it since the first day I played this.Yes it's little hard but still I just love to play it.

As the real Flappy Bird has been taken down and interest has waned, it's probably best to close this thread.

Any issues with the lock, please feel free to drop me a PM. :)
