Root Flash Admire's stock software/rom to Cricket's Vitality?

I did it and everything worked except contacts.apk without any flashing or anything and the stock images for the admire odin worked too....I use gophone and gocontacts from the market and everything works not sure about data though as I was doing it for a friends phone not mine and he didn't have a data plan...i was still on cricket too

Damn... got the same problem myself, basically... This admire is on nTelos and now i can't send/recieve mms msgs on custom ROMs... but everything else seems to be working fine.

The Samsung Admire and Vitality are exactly the same phone (model R720). "Vitality" is just the name used for it on the Cricket network.

I have one of these phone that I bought with Cricket but it has very bad coverage in my rural area. So I just paid Remote Squad (which uses a remote viewer to log into your computer and download software to flash your phone with) to flash my phone to Page Plus because it uses the Verizon network which has great coverage in my location.

Unfortunately...I so far cannot recomment Remote Squad. My phone worked right after the flashing process (Remote Squad does give you a $2 credit if you flash to Page Plus) but as soon as I signed up for a monthly auto paid plan on PP the next day my phone ends any call as soon as it starts to dial. Trying to text gets a message on my phone saying the network is not responding. Page Plus says there is no problem with my plan, that it is active. And activation/programming worked after the flashing process.

Can anyone help me fix this mess???? I've sent several emails to these guyz on Remote Squad and they havent responded, despite their 7 day guarantee for remote flashing. I've resigned myself to having to learn how to fix this screwed up phone myself, with the help of you smart cell techie peeps

Remote Squad downloaded QPST and CDMA Workshop on my roomies laptop (I only have a Mac, with no Windows emulator) so all I need to know is what the heck to check/change/look at to try and fix this.

I saw this post when I was searching for a solution to my kid's Samsung Vitality problem.

I am not familar with this phone stuff, but just want to let you it worked well for me. Yours could be different since it was flashed to something else.

Has anyone done it with everything (market, data, mms, etc.) working? I would love to do this asap with the 4/100 deal going on The reason I want to do the Vitality is it's extremely similar if not the same as the Admire and it has AWS aka 1700mhz spectrum Any help would be greatly appreciated. If anyone has a way of even flashing a rom to the Vitality and has a copy of the stock Admire rom I would be willing to purchase a Vitality to confirm and try. Thanks in advance!

Why not just flash the Samsung Admire MetroPCS 2.3.6 Official update? o.0
Seems that would be enough to change most of it over to MPCS (may have to update phone number/NVitems via CDMAws or DFSCDMA, but thats about it).
