Root Flash back to Sprint from MetroPCS help

ok again we need to know what your hboot version is before we can proceed. so please follow lineman78's post and let us know what you have. once that is known then we can point you in the right direction on how to unroot the phone so that you will have s-on.

I'm not sure if this is stealing but we just happen to have the same problem. This is what I have on my Evo.

After that info we can go from there:)

It has Metro PCS settings right now like banners and data settings. I want to restore it back to Sprint. Thanks.
So your phone is flashed to MetroPCS and want to go back to Sprint....gotcha...
However, I am unfamiliar with flashing phones to different carriers.
Let me see what info I can come up with...:)

To return the phone to Sprint (from ANY carrier)

1. Revert the MEID to what is under the battery.
2. Write a Sprint PRL to the phone. Any Sprint PRL will do.
3. Once reverted do a ##786# reset on the phone.
4. You will need the phone's (current) MSL.

Once the phone boots back up after the reset it'll be back on Sprint with a Sprint MEID and Profile 0 will be what it needs to be to be able to successfully authenticate on Sprint. The MSL will also have reverted to factory. If the NAI on profile 0 on the reset phone does not match the MEID under the battery then the sticker under the battery doesn't match the motherboard.

In that case revert it to the MEID according to Profile 0 and do another reset... just in case.

Good luck.
