Root Flash new HBOOT Q

Whats the best most reliable method of flashing a new HBOOT?
standard Fastboot?
Android flasher as recommended on SUroots guide?
Fastboot commander?
Anything special I need to do to go from Oxygen R2 to dGB?

android flasher is mentioned in the guide for people that struggle with fastboot commands although fastboot is very easy.

Fastboot is recommended as there is no gui software layer to cause a problem

never used fastbootcommander

personally i would do the following

make backup of rom, reboot to fastboot
fastboot erase cache
fastboot erase system
fastboot reboot bootloader
fastboot flash hboot nameofhboot.img
fastboot reboot bootloader
go to recovery, restore backup

Cheers Rasta, I was going to use fastboot, just seen the android flasher in the guide so though I'd ask.
Fastboot it is ;)

just for reference if anyone uses the commands above, the reboot bootloader has a hyphen in it:
fastboot erase cache
fastboot erase system
fastboot reboot bootloader
fastboot flash hboot nameofhboot.img
fastboot reboot-bootloader
go to recovery, restore backup

My bad its also reboot-bootloader. I was in a rush when i typed it.
Android flasher is just a gui for fastboot

i got HTC desire on me and is got problam when i Connect to my pc it just show me a green light top on the right........
do i need to flash if i do need 2 flash it can any one able to help me out plz

Better to start a new thread, as this sounds unrelated to this one. And give us as much information as you can - I'm not sure from what you've said here what your problem is or what the state of your phone is.
