Root Flash on cm7

Ok, first you'll need to install the Android SDK and adb drivers for your evo. This should step you through it:

Then I found this on another forum:

Instead of uninstalling from the Applications menu, use this via ADB:

adb remount
adb shell
rm /system/app/install_flash_player.apk (might say doesn't exist - no problem just continue to next step)
pm uninstall com.adobe.flashplayer

Now install Flash from the Market.

This just fixed it for me. Adobe Flash Showcase, Gettyimages, and other sites using Flash working fine. Also, I use Miren Browser with the Flash settings at Always On.

I just went back to stock and video works on the stock browser but not other ones. Later I'm gonna root again and try other roms.

I'm having the same problem with flash 10.2 on CM7.0.3. I've followed several suggestions including ones from this page. Thanks, stevcha for the adb instructions. Huffman, have you figured this out yet?
