Help flash player 10.1 update

Basically I was trying out the appbrain app the other day which suggests apps to download.
One of these recommendations was to update my flash player 10.1. I did this as suggested but it ate up about 10mb of my internal memory! Leaving me with that dreaded 'low on space' message.
Anyway I uninstall the update and all was well. But now when i go on the market it downloads automatically and its really annoying me.

So... do I need it? What's the benefit?
And how do I make it go from downloaded apps tab in market?

You need to uninstall it from the Settings>Applications menu as you would any other app. And yes it's needed as there was a loop hole found that can compromise a device

What kind of loophole needs a 10mb patch??

It's not a 10MB patch, is a whole new package (all the 10.1 apks have been about 10MB once installed)

It didn`t replace the flash on my phone it installed and took 12mb of space ,an update should uninstall original first surely

The loophole affected an update after the version that is standard on your phone. So the update fixed an update you don't have.

Makes sense? XD

No, but this update doesn't give any performance upgrade so just stick with the stock one. The filesize is huge.
