Help Flash player & camera and sound issues?

Hi there i've had the HD about a week and have some questions. The phone is a sim free version and has the latest updates. Initially i updated flash to 10.2 from the market but then no flash content would play unless mobile view was unticked in settings. After downgrading to 10.1 it worked and then i updated again and it now works again.

The problem though is mostly the playback is choppy. BBCi player works but many of the links on say bbc news don't play well at all. This is using wireless "N" on a 20meg broadband cable line that does really get 20meg download speed.

I tested the same links on my friend desire and they play back fine, but are choppy on my HD. Does anyone else have this problem or is my unit faulty. Also I notice the audio quality is really quiet even on full volume.

And lastly when i use the camera i seem to have some focus problems. The settings are on auto. Now say I am doing some critical focus on a wall i set the focus and it is fine but as it takes the still it de focuses slightly to blur the image. Again just wondering if I am alone in this or have others come across this?

Any help or advice with these problems would be greatly appreciated.

hi. welcome to the forum

i can only give my 2 cents about the camera focus thing. i notice that too. i think there are some apps that refocus when you click shot. are you using the default camera? try PRO Paint Camera, it doesnt refocus when you take a pic. its free. see if that resolves that problem.

ps: use Dolphin HD browser. I find it works best with HTC Desire HD

I've found using the stock app, the camera is actually pretty bad at capturing moving images unless I'm in a well lit area/outside.

If you set to manual focus, this helps, but it's still not the greatest. Camera 360 is another good app, but I can't find it on the market any more.

Can't help with your flash issues, sorry. Only thing I can suggest is that you have an app in the background hogging CPU?
