Flash Sprint Variant ROM

Just curious, what would be the proper steps to take if I or anyone else wanted to flash an Epic 4G Touch ROM onto this phone? I already know about having to flash the MMS fix, but is there a step by step guide to flashing a Sprint ROM?

Any help is appreciated.
 
Flash the ROM, then flash the MMS fix. To get VVM working you may need to find and download an updated VVM apk. That's pretty much all the steps needed. I've run several Sprint ROMs, and other than requiring the MMS fix, they work right out of the box.
 
Do I also have to flash the modems related to the ROM or is okay to keep the one I have now, which is GB28?
 
Thanks for your help. I will try one this weekend. Have you run Quattro yet, the SGS4 ified ROM?

Did you every try flashing that rom and then the mms fix? I've been interested in knowing if that works. A lot of those sprint roms look nice.

I tried it but I forgot to flash the MMS fix. It runs great. Went back to stock JB rooted though.
