Help Flash the Evo V to Cricket!? Sprint method?

Hey guys, I already know that the Sprint Evo can be flashed to Cricket. My question is, can i flash my Virgin mobile Evo V to Cricket the same way? I cant see why it would be any different. The reason for this is i got scammed when i bought it, and ended up with a bad esn. Any help would be really appreciated.
 
The price difference between VM's $35 plan and Cricket's $55 android plan would pay for another phone within 1 year. I'd just get another phone lol.
 
It should work, but MMS may not work. FLashing a Sprint rom would take care of that.

Beware... Carriers are working on an agreement to cross check ESN's. When that happens your phone may become dead.
