Help flash?

well i want to re-do my phone i guess, try and get it back to stock. my buddy told me to back it up and flash it. idk what that means, can anyone provide directions??

He's basically telling you to install the stock ROM on your phone if you want to revert back to stock. If you want to do that than follow this guide: http://androidforums.com/lg-optimus-m/409145-downgrading-putting-stock-rom.html and if you want the newest PRL too than download PRL 3023: 3023.prl

Its just what signal the phone is getting. It updates the signal towers

How do you flash a PRL? can you do it in custom recovery mode like you would with a rom? i have done a lot with my optimus but i have never really messed with the PRL file besides dialing *228

To write the PRL to your phone you can use QPST or LGNPST.
