Root [Flashable] MB3 Baseband

Well, well...this is the 1st thing besides CWM that I've been able to get my phone to flash. Maybe I'll push my luck & try PT 2.4 again....

Here you go, LK2 Baseband
I would like to know why you want to downgrade.

Thank you. Well i finally got kies to work, however it tells me the firmware option does not work with this baseband mb3 , so i thought i would try on the lk2 base band. Thanks again. I'm trying to return to total stock and my dumb a## lost my stock cwm backup.

I flashed but still showing mb3 base band. Here's a snap shot of recovery _log.

I am having the same issues. I cannot get Kies to work as I get the same errors you are getting. I have tried reinstalling a stock recovery. No matter what I try Kies says my phone is not supported. I only wanted to go back to stock so I could install the MB3 update as I heard it has an updated kernel.

I was able to apply the baseband patch for MB3, but cannot install the full update. If you figure it out please let me know.

Will do

I got status 7 install aborted on the actual MB3 OTA download file from VM. I haven't been able to get it to try to download/install the update again since then. Any way to force the phone to check and download it again?

Edit: I've gone in and deleted the update zip that it downloaded from the cache folder and then I cleared out the whole cache folder.

When that happens to me I had to reflash a backup and the update notification came back.

Well, it finally notified me again that I had the update and if I wanted to install so I tried again and it failed once again with an issue with the file. When I rebooted my phone I went into the cache folder and tried opening the update file and it looks like it's it's an empty file that's 30mb, I tried extracting it and it extracted no files into another folder... Wonder why it's not getting a good file when it downloads?

Can someone that has the latest update and an untouched system folder upload their cwm backup please?
I would like to make a stock rom for the reverb.
All I need is the file named system.tar.a (or something like that)

Ok decided to just flash the mb3 update from this thread from cwm. What's the difference between the actual ota update and this file? I notice this one is 1.5mb and the ota is 30.

Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Reverb using Tapatalk 2.
