Root [Flashable] MB3 Baseband

Hi. I am new to this forum. I am glad to find some people on here using rooted Galaxy Rush phones. I am still a relative Android and root noob but learning fast. Look forward to working with ya'll.

Christophorus,

I installed Clockworkmod Recovery and rooted just recently with this guide: Root and CWM for the Samsung Galaxy Rush | Android Evolved. I am still very new to working with rooted Android but learning fast. I recently got the push notification for the OTA update from LK7 to MB3. I clicked to install it and got an error in CWM Recovery about it failing to verify whole file signature, signature verification failed. It gave me to option to continue anyway but I declined not wanting to screw anything up. Upon reboot the notification is gone (relief, it was annoying me every 5 minutes) but the update zip is still in the /cache folder. I have read I have to have stock recovery to utilize the update as is. Is this correct? Aside from being rooted and having custom recovery, I am 100% stock (no custom kernels, etc.). What procedure should I follow to utilize the full OTA update? Thank you for you work on these forums. You assistance is appreciated.

Please upload the file somewhere that I can download it so I can set it up for you to use.

Signature verification is usually just to make sure that the file you choose is legit. In most cases I don't sign zip files so I recommend for people to turn it off.
Try updating using the file in your cache by moving it to your sdcard or by navigation to the directory in cwm.
If it fails to flash send me just a few numbers from the error(5-6) so I can distinguish which line it is that I should remove as a workaround.

-Edit
If you are on the galaxy rush use my post to update.
