Root Flashed Fission 2.0.2 and stuck on Startup M, HELP!!

So I tried to flash the Fission 2.0.2 rom earlier today. I am running the OTA Froyo update (can't remember the exact firmware off the top of my head) with the 928 Droid X Black Glass theme, so I was deodexed. I followed the instructions, I made a nandroid backup, wiped the cache and data, mounted the cache and data, installed the ROM and tried to reboot, and it poped up to the M.

I waited an hour and a half and it was still stuck like that. I pulled the battery hoping to get back into Clockwork recovery, but not it's still stuck on the M. What do I do? Help!!

Try to clear data and cache from the Motorola recovery.

Yes, turn off the phone, hold down the home button then power, wait for m to show, release power then home... Then click search button, then clear data then clear cache. Usually works. If not, just use the sbf.

I had the same problem flashing the RC last night. Only thing I can think of is mounting system. If you're stuck on the M, clearing data and cache won't help (I tried it). It's just a bad install.
SBF, start over, and make sure you mounted system.

The SBF is an update zip file, right? So just apply the update in recovery and try again?

No you need to use RSD Lite 4.8 to apply the SBF.

Ok, I applied the SFB, but I can't get out of the bootloader. Whenever I put the battery back in it goes right to the bootloader instead of the recovery. What do I do?

What SBF did you flash? What program did you use?

Make sure you have .sbf and rsd lite 4.8 Home

Yeah, sounds like he/she flashed the 2.1 SBF over the OTA.

Yeah, I flashed 2.1 instead of 2.2 and now my battery is low and it won't charge. :/

that is the problem. You need to find spare battery, or external charger.

Ok, I went to my Verizon store and they just gave me a new battery (There was a guy there who actually understood what I meant by "Accidentally flashed the 2.1 SBF instead of the OTA update"). Flashing the 2.2 SBF now...
