Help Flashing 2.2 rom

Was thinking about flashing 2.2 to my phone. Wanted to know is it worth the risk or should I just wait for 2.2 to come out? I am just tired of waiting. So is it worth the risk? Also would be nice to take att bloatware off

I'd wait. It should be coming soon. When 2.2 is actually released for the Captivate, you're either going to have not only a safer upgrade path, but if you're dead-set on going down the one-way street of hacking up your phone you'll find more-compatible 2.2 ROMs released based upon the official 2.2 release so they'll have less issues, bugs and quirks than the hacked-up versions floating around now.

i'd flashed...sorry I did flash...i agree with Sremick when the official froyo come we will have more stable roms with all the cool tweaks....

but till then enjoy froyo buggy roms, which are not that bad...I had issues with stock ecliar and I have issues with froyo custom rom...atleast i have snappier faster phone with lots of awesome features...

but it all ur personal choice...
