Root flashing 2 themes

what happens when you flash 2 themes without rebooting after the first flash? If you zip the first, say clear bubble everything flashes, no reboot then you zip a second theme like say toxic green then reboot what happens?

The only time you need to clear is when your updating roms or kernals?

No need to wipe anything when flashing themes, right?

If my Q's seem to be dumb excuse me, Im still learning:confused::rolleyes::D
 
You need to wipe cache and dalvik.

In all the themes they have a settings.apk, systemui.apk, framework-res.apk, and res_cappuccino.apk. If you flash one over the other it will replace the ones from before and give you whatever theme you are flashing at the time.

Now with Clear Bubble and especially Phone Candy theres more themed. SO say if you flash Toxic Green over phone candy youll have the toxic green theme but will have Phone Candy's mms, dailer/contacts, web browser, youtube,the clear power control widget, the themed music widget the themed music player, Gmail, email...and whatever else I may have missed :D..... since Toxic Green doesnt yet have those themed so it doesnt over write them because those apks arent in Toxic Green that are in Phone Candy.....Hopefully that made sense...started to confuse myself there for a minute :D
 
Ive flashed two themes without reboot and had no problems... im using red devil theme + dread ginger theme... and it actually makes a really kool red theme with no problems exept for the 99% skipping.. not a big deal tho.. so it worked for and good luck if it works with you..

The 99% on the battery skips for everyone on any theme. Well atleast if you are on GSE. Dont know why because the icons are there in the apks
 
Acutally my phone is currently running LD-LG ZVD Alpha2 with Phone Candy as base Theme with LDK-ICK ZVD Test Theme5 on top of it and it's running pretty good. Kind of have a Duel Theme with a few things coming from the Phone Candy like (Mail.Gmail,Metroweb,Musicapp,Youtube,and a few minor thing here and there.)
Like ShinySide said the system will take the last flash thing on there and LDK-ICK Is taking up most of the theme effects.
