Flashing an Optimus M/V/C ROM??

Hi I own an LG Optimus M and I recently figured out how to flash an Optimus V ROM to the Optimus M and almost everything worked just fine, Wifi didn't work and neither did the radio that connects to cell towers.

Someone else also flashed an Optimus S ROM to their Optimus M and it also helped to make it flash ok, but the home and settings button were switched.

I was wondering if you guys wanted to try this out on your Optimus S (make sure you read the guide and where it says "Optimus M" or "OM" switch it to making it say Optimus S). Download an Optimus M, C, or V ROM and tell me what happens..

Thanks and please only people that know how to unbrick/get out of fastboot/ know what they're doing try this.
I am not responsible if you brick or get stuck in fastboot/bootloader.
This is mostly for the devs/people who want to make ROM port requests (don't ask me, idk how to port)/people who just want to try another ROM for ideas if they are building one.

EDIT (5/24/12): ask me to port any gingerbread ROM and I can help you if you give me a basic CM7 ROM that has everything working already
 
It is not usually wise to flash rom intended for different phone. Even like optimus and optimus V. though very alike they are different.

Biggest prob would prob be , radio not working, no data or phone.

I would try i my optimus s wasn't my daily driver. Perhaps when i get a new phone i will test more and help with alpha/beta builds

This is also backwards compatible with your phone. just replace the same files, but don't use the zip file posted.

can someone test sense from the m ( i think) on the s????? i would test but im loyal to hydro rom. ( im actually afraid!!!:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: lol)
