Root Flashing backup

When I made my backup using clockworkmod it did not save it as a zip file. Will this be a problem when flasing to backup. Thanks

Nope, it makes separate .img files for each partition that it backs up and puts them in a directory named after the date/time gmt under /sdcard/clockworkmod. Do not mess with the files and do not rename the folder. Use ROM manager if you must rename a nandroid backup. It's safer.

When you go to restore a nandroid backup, you don't select the option to flash a zip. You select the option to restore a nandroid backup. It will give you a list of previous backups. I don't need to go searching for them like you do with zip files. Trust me, it's painless :).
