Root Flashing CM 7.2

Anyone else got the same problem as me?

Flash the Rom and Kernal and got stuck on the SPH-R720 screen (No Yellow Warning)?
 
Flash the kernel THEN the ROM, and then the gapps, if that doesn't work then I'm out of suggestions for now lol, and I've tried this ROM twice and I kept having problems with messages not receiving to my phone, like it would take a while and all the messages that I didn't get came literally all at once, anyone else have this problem?

Never seen 493, but if you mean 492 then try reflashing the rom and when you reboot, let it sit a few minutes before logging into Google, then wait a few minutes before you get on the store and you should be good. And when I say a "few" minutes, I mean like 15-20. You might be able to get by simply reflashing and making sure you don't get the cache error in CWM when you reboot recovery. Good luck :)
 
Download the following files (compressed into one file)

Cyanogenmod Samsung Admire.zip - 4shared.com - online file sharing and storage - download

1- Install To the phone with Odin (This will get you CWM5)
take the battery & place it back in, plug in the usb cable than hold the cam button till you see the upload mode.

2- Upload the following files to your phone

CM72RC1-Beta1-KernelCWM-requisite0.zip

CM72RC1-Beta2-requisite0.zip
gapps-gb-20110828-signed.zip
CM72RC1-Beta1-KernelCWM-requisite0.zip
This will install CWM7 To your phone (restart after install)

CM72RC1-Beta2-requisite0.zip
this will install the Android OS (install after restarting the CWM7)


gapps-gb-20110828-signed.zip
this will fix some apps for the Android OS (Install after installing the OS)
you might need to mount system folder
you could run this again after restart.


If you need to install Additional themes download this and install as regular apps (change theme from theme changer app)

Note: After installing CM7 from CM5 Your screen might freeze on the android screen, to solve this keep holding the (Power+Back+VD) the phone should restart few times before you get to the CWM7 Recovery *don't let go even if the phone restarts*

Note 2: If you don't see the android market on your android screen (missing icon), restart your phone into recovery
go to Advance --> Clear Dalvik and Fix Permision (it might take a while)
Clear cash and data
Install "gapps-gb-20110828-signed.zip"
This should get the android market installed

I was reading about CM7 sounds interesting but I see complains with messages + other stuff... any video of CM7.2 working?

The only issues I've noticed while using cm7 is using bluetooth during a call force closes phone process, there are data issues but that's what the mms fix is for which fixes data and mms, you can't watch hq YouTube videos, camera doesn't work but you can use fast burst camera from the play store as a replacement camera app but that's all I can think of really
