flashing firmware

hi,I just got my sgs2 a week ago and i would like to flash 2.3.5 since updating firmware by using Kies makes me tired of waiting.

i would like to know, can ANY firmware (xwkf1, etc) update to 2.3.5 by flashing through odin since 2.3.5 is only available to XXKI3?and what is a Jig?and what makes Frankenstein different? and why do we need/want to reset binary counter by using a jig?

You can update to ki3 2.3.5 from any firmware so Kf1 can be updated you just won't have Kf1 anymore you will have ki3 instead. You may want to reset you're binary counter if you need to return you're phone as you're warranty is void if it isn't at 0.

I haven't used a jig before so I can't really describe what one is, I only know it resets the binary counter. Add for the Frankenstein ROM, never flashed one of those either, but if I think logically about it I would say its a ROM made up of parts of other roms. Kind of like when Dr Frankenstein made his monster out of different parts of different people.
