Help Flashing from XXKG1 to KG5

Anonim

Lurker
Im new to android had my phone like a week, so i dont really know what im doing.

I have an s2, which i flashed from 2.3.3 to 2.3.4 on KG1, and im looking at the xda forums and apparantly KG5 is the latest version, but on xda it says OXA poland, does that mean it will only work on polish devices or some shit? any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

(Also i would like to root once i update the firmware)

I rooted on kg1 instead of updating, on the guide it says to push the zImage to /sdcard.. how do i do that lol?

*to get rid of the warning triangle*

Just connect your phone to your pc and place the zImage on your phones memory. Then go into the CWM app, choose flash kernel and select the zImage file.

I did that, it said flashing kernel, then rebooted with the yellow triangle still there?
