Root flashing menu button stuff = stuck at boot

I tried flashing the zip for stock rom "menu button remap and no on screen menu" this afternoon. Luckily I did a backup before all of this. Upon flashing and rebooting the phone makes it to the second HTC Quietly amazing screen with the beatsaudio logo at the bottom. This is the screen after the Sprint 4G LTE splash comes up. The problem is I can't get the phone past this screen. It gets stuck. I forced the phone to reboot 3 times before deciding to restore my backup. After restore phone boots normally. Anyone else having issues with the phone not booting up after applying these zips? I'm rooted with Regaw method, it is deodexed right? Got the files from here:

If you simply started stock, rooted with Regaw's one-click, then you're still at stock rooted and odexed.

You can select a stock deodexed rom first, or one of the roms already baking in some/many of those changes.

Ok, I guess I need more help. Which one of these deodexed roms are completely stock with no tweaks? They all seem to have something done to them.

:)

Oddly enough, the menu button remap didn't work 100% for me. I could get a menu (from pressing recent apps button) on my homescreen and text messages but not on every app. Furthermore, the "no on screen menu" is still there and holding down the button doesn't pull up recent apps. I reflashed the stock deodexed so back to normal for now.

The closest thing to having all of that working is the Charmeleon rom - it's a stock rom with all of the various tweaks available via an app - no re-flash this, re-flash that.

Only big gripe is that if you want the recent apps button to be the menu button, you have to edit a file at the moment. (Charmeleon was a One X rom, so _most_ things work.)

Although a few tweaks like that didn't work, the rest of the rom is just stock, so everything else is 100%.

And the 3-dot gray menu bar of death is really gone in that rom (turn on/off with a config clicky, very easy).

It's getting updated, we expect in a few days or so, give or take, to the Viper4G rom. If the idea of having all of that sort thing be customizable with the big Easy button, then you'll want to keep an eye out for that, it's expected to have the little bugs I mentioned fixed.
