Root Flashing my first Rom

Ok, I just want to cover all my bases and make sure everything is set for me.

I rooted my ATRIX, installed ROM manager pro and Titanium backup pro, backed up my apps and data with Titanium, and flashed clockworkmod with rom manager.

I have the Alien rom and the alien theme downloaded and put on my sdcard.

From what I understand I just click install rom in rom manager and it should all be good correct?

Thanks for any advice! I just want to make sure I'm doing everything correctly.
 
I've not rooted my Atrix yet but you'll want to do a Nandroid backup or similar. There should be an option in ROM Manager. This will backup everything - all your current apps and settings, texts etc so you can restore if anything goes wrong during flashing (or just if you don't like the ROM you flash! )

Did u unlock ur bootloader???
 
How do you unlock the bootloader? I use a whole different device, I'm doing this for a friend. So is this phone compatible with rom manager? Can I just grab it, flash the latest version then flash a rom? That sounds too easy I had to do it all manual for my phone, any help would be appreciated
