Root FLASHING PROBLEMS. for those who have flashed and now have glitches.

Heres what i found, i first rooted my motion out of the box, phone was fine, then LG released the 10d update, well i wasnt able to install the update cause LG said my phone was suspected of being rooted, so i first read that some people were able to update even though they were rooted. I first tried the SuperSU full unroot, didnt work, LG still said i was rooted, then i decided to flash my phone using the unbrick thread, phone was flashed LG allowed the update and i rerooted, well thats when the little problems started, my phone would randomly restart, my net was having issues, and my battery would just die, that one still has me confused, i could have a full battery, id come back 2 hours later and my phone would be off, when i would try to turn it on it was so dead that nothing would happen,
at first i thought my phone was toast, id plug it in and had to wait 10 minutes before it would turn on.

So i decided to do a factory data reset, that helped some but phone would still turn off, i then decided to do the 10d update again, this time i used LGmobile software updater agent, well when it read my phone i was confused, it showed my phone as LG-MS770 and said an update was available so i clicked next and it said my phone would be updated from android donut to eclair, i thought what the hell is that about, but did the update, no issues with update even though i was rooted.

Well it downloaded about 550 megs for the update, it flashed my phone but i didn't lose any settings or apps, and now i have no issues,
So it seems that even though the software is the same there may be small differences in the code or the program that installs it.
Thats my story, hope it helps.

Like any good super user knows, there is bound to be problem with a smart phone when old data is on the phone when put through an update or flashing a new rom. I had the same issues, up until I realized that all my data was on the systems memory with copies of the same files from the old firmware. I deleted these copies and rebooted, lo and behold it stopped with the glitches.

Here's my 2 cents:
Any one who wants to update a rooted phone should do so with downloading the version 10d firmware and flash it instead of downloading 10c and updating to 10d. Why? Because KDZ flashing is cleaner than OTA flashing ;)
