Flashing ROM failure

I used dark side super wipe then flashed Jedi mind tricks and it rebooted and was just stuck on boot loop I followed instructions perfectly I'm on a sgs2 t989 koodo version can someone tell me what to do exactly I really want the rom

Try going to recovery and do a factory reset.

What recovery are you using? If you're on the newer recoveries you don't need super wipe and it actually cause problems with newer recoveries.

Well I reflashed my old ROM I'm back now but I'm gonna try again I was on clockwork the newer version so what do I need to do differently? And it did seem to cause problems it didn't even say completed installing zip it just rebooted after everything

Read that post about what to wipe in CWM but don't use super wipe. I would also suggest using TWRP recovery.

How do I get twrp and what is it

TWRP is a recovery. You can download goomanager from the play store. Open it and tap your menu button, then select 'Install OpenRecoveryScript'. Give it a few minutes to download and install. You should see the progress in your notification pulldown. Then just boot into recovery like normal.

I think twrp is better and easier to use than cwm. It also seems to work better with the newer jellybean Roms.
