Okay so I flashed the liquid smooth ROM then I flashed the nameless ROM,I decided that I want to rock w the liquid smooth for now so when I went to wipe in TWRP I get a bunch of error messages saying E:unable to mount /data,unable to mount internal storage, and unknown mtp message type 1...Im stuck, lol, please help me out here,I have no idea whats going on :/

Im sorry, like ROMs? Bc I have a bunch on my ext sd,as well as a titanium backup, but thats w Carbon ROM...

If you do, I recommend booting into recovery and don't wipe anything, just go to flash the recovery again and reboot the recovery. I've had this issue before and what I'm describing seemed to solve it, but I always went to a different recovery.

Oh I see...I only have TWRP installed,I had CWM recovery but liked this one better...so what im doing is reinstalling the recovery, right?

Yes, just reinstall the recovery and then do a data wipe, cache wipe, system wipe, dalvik wipe and try to flash your Rom again and let me know what happens

Thanks so much!!~! This seemed random ,and for the record,I didnt change recoveries, flashed TWRP again and its wiping now! WOW,thanks sooo much!!!!!!!! :thumbsupdroid::thumbsupdroid: You rock!!!

Lol... Cool man, I'm glad it worked, I've had more than my fair share of those kind of freak outs ;)

Lol! I knew what recovery was,I was just in a lil panic ,like i was lost for a min, lol,Im learning tho thanks to all of you! I appreciate the help!

Whats weird now is that I can flash a ROM no problem but I can not seem to wipe my whole internal storage, along w the wipe..Factory reset in TWRP works fine but an advanced wipe says it still can wipe or mount data? So Im just wiping it myself manually (deleting old folders in internal storage) after flashing...weird... thanks for the help yall!!!!!

Well it is apparently mounting your data partition after boot up... Otherwise you'd have some real problems...like the encryption unsuccessful thing... Gaahhh, don't even get me started on that one. The best thing I can recommend to you now is switch to a different recovery for a while and see how it functions, something in the recovery could be corrupt. Find the newest CWM that phenom just put out and flash it with Rashr (root tools) app from the Play Store. I would highly suggest making sure everything is stable in the recovery you're using on your phone, because trust me, data partition corruption is no fun and no resolution has been found yet to repair it.

that's what all of is are here for to help each other

Okay cool,im getting that right now..damn i liked TWRP,lol,so easy to flash.I understand whats going on now...okay well one last thing, in CWM recovery I wipe dalvik ,cache, and data/fact reset but do nothing in the mounts and storage section..is this correct? ...thanks a million!!

Oh and in Rashr I cant see the zip file to flash it,and Im guessing I dont unzip it...so can I flash it in TWRP or no?

if u have twarp installed do factory reset then go in to advance and format data I all ways do this way to stop problems glad u got it:)

Oh nvm I figured it out lol

Everyone will do things differently... I always like to do a full manual wipe, it makes things feel more thorough to me. So, I'll do wipe cache and dalvik and format data, system and cache again (for whatever reason). The reason I suggested to you to switch to CWM temporarily is so that you could see what's happening with your /data partition. I suggested Rashr just because I've had some oddities with flashing a recovery with a recovery before, but no you can totally flash the recovery inside of your current recovery if you wish AND absolutely go back to TWRP when you want. It's a good recovery, I just wanted you to be sure something didn't end up getting corrupted. Alright my friend, happy flashing;)

Right on, yeah im sticking w CWM for now.. This install of CWM seems tp be working alot smoother than before... Thanks for all the info.. I'm gonma try ur wiping method bc for some reason i still cant wipe all my internal sd data... But i will let yall kno if i get it, but everything is great and im rocking Liquid right now, love it!
