Root Flashing ROM issue..

Right on, yeah im sticking w CWM for now.. This install of CWM seems tp be working alot smoother than before... Thanks for all the info.. I'm gonma try ur wiping method bc for some reason i still cant wipe all my internal sd data... But i will let yall kno if i get it, but everything is great and im rocking Liquid right now, love it!

Ahh... You're trying to format internal SD....why would you want to do that? You might accidentally delete something you were about to flash :-P ...
Do as you will, but I can't inform you about that setting as I only manage contents on my internal/and external memory (SD) with a file manager.

I kind of stumbled onto this thread by accident (sometimes I just start picking random new threads to see what's going on). I believe the error in the OP is due to newer versions of TWRP having the tendency to start up the first time with MTP enabled. I don't believe the error actually created a problem other than the red type it appears in causing panic attacks ;), at least that was the case with my Galaxy Tab S. However, hit the "Mount" button and checks whether MTP is enabled. If so, hit the "Disable MTP" button. The next time you flash there will be no error.

That's my experience with it using TWRP 2.8.4.0, but not with a ZTE so forgive me if I'm wrong. :-)

DsyMnapTic I thought on certain occasions its okay to format data?..I just had issues after flashing w certain apps not working correctly and after I got rid of their old files from the last flash, uninstalled and rebooted, it had fixed that, plus I make anything I flash is on my external sd...I dunno, good heads up tho and I really appreciate the feedback!! And Hook, youre a genius for sure..Because now im remembering something about the initials MTP being on the screen either before/after I flashed...Whats MTP if anyone can tell me,and thanks so much for stumbling on this thread and the input! For years I have falling in love w the DROID platform and everything it encompasses but yall on here seriously are freaking amazing when it comes to indulging in that platform, and people like me would be all over the place w stock ROMs and no root and we cant have that, lol,Thanks yall!

MTP stands for Media Transfer Protocol and it is the way Android devices now communicate with computers rather than being mounted as a tradition external drive. Essentially, the host computer treats your Android as if it were a media device. For all intents and purposes you can do most of the same things like copy files back and forth. MTP in TWRP allows you to connect your computer when in TWRP, but I'm not familiar myself (not that far removed from a noob ;) with the scenarios in which you would want to. I believe in an earlier version of TWRP you had to boot into recovery and enable MTP for you to be able to see the backups on your computer and copy them (for off phone backup), but that is no longer true in the current version for either my Nexus 5 or TAB S.
