Help Flight mode problem

My SGS2 has been flipping itself into flight mode on it's own since the day I got it. I have sent this phone back more times then I can count. I keep getting it back with no resolution.

I have the same problem. It spontaneously reverts to flight mode. I can then switch off the flight mode but after some time i find my SGS2 again in flight mode.

and it is strange that problem is reported almost 1 year ago but there are no any response neither from Samsung nor from Android. :mad:
 
this happens to mine from time to time, apparently randomly, since my phone was rooted, it NEVER happened before, not once, when it had the original rom and was not rooted
 
Hi all
I am facing the same problem and unable to turn off flight mode. factory reset not solving this problem, so i submit my s2 to samsung service center and now they said that the mother board has to be changed. Now I am waiting they will change it today or may be tomorrow.


* Yesterday I got my phone they had changed the mother board and till now I am not facing any problem.
 
Just wanted to post an update; a couple of months ago I sent the phone into service and the motherboard was replaced. No more dropped call or randomly turning flight mode on.
 
Is this problem easy to solve?

I may buy one with this problem and need to know if it just a problem of software.

my SGSII keeps on flight mode. At first it's just says that it out of service, but not long after it's reverted to flight mode and won't return. When I tried to use factory reset, it says "ID is unknown! Reboot device" but even after I reboot it, it's still flight mode.
Does anyone know how to fix this problem?:(:(

FOUND THE SOLUTION!!
copy paste it on any forum please :)

I had same problem on my gs2 just press power button a while for the power options to pop up then hold the flight button for like 10 seconds until you feel your phone rumble, right after I did this my phone connected to my network again and I finally started getting my text messages :P hope it works for you guys aswell!
Only thing I did not feel no rumble. I just kept holding flight mode and turning it on and off. Its been more than 2 months and problem fix. I did Factory resect and failed. good luck my inglish is poor.And my cel. improved in other ways.

It could be firmware related, there were lots of bugs in earlier firmware.
