Root Flip Clock Animation Now?

[zigzackattack]

Now that the Eris is rooted can we get the flip clock widget to actually flip? This rom for the hero does it: the flipclock - Android @ MoDaCo. I've been hoping for this forever!

+1 for this.

Also, I confirmed yesterday that the fullscreen weather animations in 2.1 are tied to the flip clock only. Is there any way to extend this functionality to the other HTC weather widgets? Might be a great add-on to a ROM...
