Flush sleep button?

So all the reviews said the sleep button on the top of the phone was even with the rest of the casing but I noticed on mine it was slightly raised and fairly easy to hit without looking. Another post I read mentioned that HTC said we were getting the same phones that the Google io people got.

Anyone else notice this? And if it is indeed a change, I wonder if there are any other stealth improvements to the phone.

Yup, I have the sprint silicon case on and its not gonna work out. Very hard to press cause its so flush.

I have the Seidio case on my EVO and the cutout for the power button makes it a snap to locate and push.
