Help Fly touch WiFi issues no Mac address

Canadien

Lurker
Well her I go and I do hope someone can help, I picked up the Fly Touch 2 demo tablet this week and I had to do a factory reset to erase what ever the store or other had on it. That went very well no issues except the fact that there is no registration number but this is for the other thread I am currently following.

When you turn it on now I get all the icons back etc... but when I try to connect to a WiFi network it scans but does not connect going to advance I see that there is no Mac address. What do I need to do to resolve this?

here are the systems details:cool:

Model number: deb
Firmware version: 2.1-update 1
Kernel version: 2.6.32.9 hzhao@emma#1
Build number: deb-r2.1.1001
Certification: certification of this device is not passed

Not sure if you got a response to this but if you go to "settings" "about device" and then "status" it should show you the MAC address.

Otherwise get it to connect to your router without MAC filtering and once it is connected you should be able to see it's MAC address somewhere in your router GUI.

I am using a Linksys WAG160n and if I go into to MAC Filtering and click on "wireless client list" it shows me all the MAC addresses currently connected to my wifi.

Does this help?
