Flytouch 3 - Android 2.2

I have plugged in regular usb keyboards and mice and all work fine.

Internet is a little slow on these machines. I use dolphin HD browser and Ive tried the built in browser and opera. its connected to the same wirless network as my htc phone but it isnt as fast.

The wireless is just plain shoddy and by that I mean the hardware isn't the greatest. Cut your standard wireless speed in half and that's about the responsiveness. I just bought a G-tab(only $279 on amazon) and I'm going to do a side-by-side comparison when it arrives.
 
I'm hearing good things about the g-tab, and at that price, there really is no reason to be rolling the dice on a Flytouch, IMO. For $60-70 more, you're getting a superior device in almost every single way with the peace of mind of a hassle-free warranty.

The only thing I was able to get working on the HDMI out was the video player. Just start the video and push Menu (or maybe it was the Home?) button. Hold it for a second or two and the Flytouch screen will go dark and display on the TV. I don't believe it is designed to browse, play games or do anything but play videos through HDMI.

I bought superpad III flytouch 2 last week from ebay. it has 2 usb port, HDMI, RJ45, GPS, TFcard and WiFI, all built in. 1 Ghz Processor, 512 ram, hardisk 8GB, (ROM 2 GB and standby 6GB) OS Android Froyo 2.2.
Everything is OK except USBmodem HSDPA. I use Huawei E169 (modem standar telkomsel Indonesia) but cannot connect, but device are detected as 3G alert on android. I cannot connect with Modem HSDPA. then I try other modems (about 10 modems) I get same problem.
I dont know what should I do again. Give me some advice pleaseee....
or you have a GUI of modem HSDPA connection for android 2.2? give me pleaseee..
 
I decided to sell them on ebay so my wholeseller will have to stay private. It is a friend of my Step daughters (she is Chinese as is my wife). They all have 7000mAh batteries, 512ram, 4gb memory, camera,GPS, Android 2.2, sorry. I just odered 6 04/14/11. Not looking to make alot so my price will be $215 with case and 4GB TF card, screen protector, with shipping included. If you order 2 or more, $225 for one piece. The 6 I ordered are all sold as of 04/16/11 9am.

I have since few days my flytouch 3, and updated it with Tim's 2e firmware.
Ho-ever I have some doubt about the revisions, but as I am not familiar with the different firmware versions I attach a picture about my system.
Could you tell me guys is it up to date or not? In many articles I was reading about firmware dates somehow end of Marc, as you can see mine is 20110302.
Also do not know the Model number "disco" is proper or not.

So, every feedback is appreciated.

I received my FT3 yesterday it worked fine for about three hours, but while I was watching a movie, it shut down suddenly. I tried to start it again but it did not start. I used the reset button but it did not start.
I tried to start it while the charger in and out but it did not start
I used the “HOME” + power buttons + Front Round Button but still no response
any idea
 
I know this sounds stupid but plug it in and let it charge for about an hour. Then try turning it back on. Otherwise since you just got it, send that puppy back.
 
At a glance the new SuperPad III isn't much different from the II version. If anything, it's not as good because it only has 1 TF slot. Small stuff, but what really ticks me off is this:

Doesn't support flash player 10.1 like ALL the sellers claim.
Doesn't respond very well via touch or tilt.
Doesn't support HDMI to HDTV very well either..Volume and upscale issues render it almost useless..You would think they would have incorporated a regular HDMI slot too on the new version..NOPE
Doesn't have 4GB of memory..when I tried to install Flash I was asked to insert removable media..If there was 2GB free of the 4GB why does it ask for an sd card?? Like the fake ipods they sell, I believe these tablets have hacked memory cards aswell..
Doesn't support Canada in weather app...previous versions did..
GPS feature sucks & google maps always revert to China Location.

in summary.. If you just want something to slowly browse the internet & check out Facebook or other emails then this will do the job. Only other feature worth mentioning is you can watch movies on it via usb or sd card..movies you already have saved..don't expect Netflix or other online streaming sites to work, because they won't!

I recently purchased what I believe to be a Flytouch 3. It was a birthday present for my oldest son. I have two questions. Facebook. Can you play the games. Such as Farmville and Social Empires? Second. Any of the apps that require tilting the unit...nothing happens when it is tilted. Any suggestions?

It does, you might have to flash to a new firmware/rom perhaps ?

I have not tested it myself but i heard that it works flawless (perhaps you have old firmware) - the internal speaker is indeed shit,but if you connect video to a flatscreen tv, you prolly want to connect the audio also to something differend then the internal speaker,then it sounds flawless.

IT comes in 2gb,4gb or 8gb (like mine) - i"m not sure why it would ask to insert removable media,never had it happen to me. Do you mean you tried to flash yr device perhaps ? excuse me if i understand wrong.

there are differend weather apps u can get i gues. If the gps is stuck you need to get a firmware upgrade and do the 'clear gpsA fix' - i had to do it also and now the gps works flawless. PS: use a real gps program. Google maps is for me useless there you need a internet connection all the time (i know it can cache maps now)

Browing the internet depends on your internet connection, your wifi signal and ofcourse what browser you use (this can vary a lot on mobile devices), i suggest trying a few differend browsers because imo browsing the web on my device is very smooth and fast.

For the rest everyone can have its own opinions ofcourse, i just wanted to set things right. for me it gives great value for its price. at least 3/5 stars - prolly 3.5/5

I have been reading this forum for a while now whilst trying to figure out which tablet to get for a birthday present, i have finally (i think!!) decided on the flytouch 3, and i am ready to order it.

i have found it on ankaka.com for 159.90 Dollars then with postage it will be 187 Dollars total. i would just like to know if anyone else has ordered from here or even just someone with a bit more expertise with this item could have a look to make sure it will be a genuine flytouch 3

Can someone please tell me if the Flytouch 3 will play farmville??? Mine does not and am wondering, if it is supposed to, how to I fix this problem?

I have a flytouch 3 superpad 2.It has 2 memory slot.One is at the internal memory,the other is at the "my epad"."Internal memory"is around 1gb."my epad" is 6.07gb.When i install app,it always use the "internal memory".How i can install app to the "my epad" which is 6.07gb?ei

hey guys, i just bought a flytouch 3 and i was wondering, what is better for battery life.
2x3800 mAh or just one 6400mAh. I can't figure this out on google, thanks

I thought the same but i load tim3a mod and my superpad 3 is much better.

If you are trying to update your tablet using the Upgrade system in the settings then you will be getting errors as it has not been implemented yet...to upgrade with 'Tims image' you will need to do it manually (find the image & use the SD card update route)
